Trezzo sull’Adda è stata scelta come sede per la Convention Europlate 2012, che si svolgerà nel weekend di Pasqua (7-8 aprile 2012).
AISTA sta alacremente lavorando per offrire ai soci (che aspettiamo numerosi) un week end di svago, di amicizia, di buon cibo e piacevoli gite e soprattutto di targhe, tante targhe, un mondo di targhe.
La cittadina ospitante è posta all’estremo confine orientale della provincia di Milano.
Una volta questo era confine di stati, posto di frontiera, lo prova il castello che è stato costruito
imponente sul promontorio.
L’Adda scorre placida a monte della splendida centrale idroelettrica, costruita nel 1906,e più ripida
a valle, in ogni caso sufficientemente in basso da non crearci preoccupazioni ...
Trezzo è facilmente raggiungibile con l’automobile da tutta l’Europa. Chi arriverà con altri mezzi, comunichi i dettagli del viaggio alla casella email trezzo.eu2012@gmail.com così cercheremo di indicarvi le soluzioni migliori per raggiungere Trezzo.
Gli alberghi sono tre: uno vicinissimo alla sede della Convention (l’hotel Trezzo), uno vicino (il Guglielmotel) e uno che è a 10 minuti di auto su una strada semplice, il Park Hotel di Cassano d’Adda. E’ superfluo dire che chi prima arriva meglio alloggia.
Una bella villa del ‘700, Villa Cavenago, sarà il cuore della Convention.
Vi invito a cominciare a gustare l’ambiente raffinato ed elegante che ci ospiterà visitando il
sito.
Ma tutto sarà inutile se non verrà reso vivo dal calore dell’amicizia e del piacere di stare assieme a tanti soci che giungono da varie parti del mondo per mostrare le proprie targhe e ammirare quelle altrui da ogni latitudine e da ogni epoca possibile giunte.
Non so se tutto funzionerà alla perfezione, noi ci mettiamo tutto il nostro impegno e la nostra passione per accogliervi con calore, amicizia ed efficienza, per rendere l’atmosfera la più rilassata possibile perché ciascuno di voi sabato possa pensare liberamente solo alle targhe e dedicarsi completamente a questa favolosa passione. Domenica poi ogni socio potrà scegliere quale spicchio di Italia vedere, in ogni caso non resterà deluso.
Iscrivetevi senza por tempo alla convention e preparate le vostre targhe.

Trezzo sull’Adda will be the location for Europlate Convention 2012, to be held, as usual, on Easter weekend (7-8 April 2012).
AISTA is working hard in order to offer all members a diversion week-end, with good food, pleasant trips and above all a lot of plates, a “world” of plates!
The little town that will give you hospitality is located in the eastern area of Milan province. Years ago this land was a frontier between States, as the headland castle explains. Adda river flows past the hydroelectric plant, built in 1906, and in a deep trench downstream (no worry anyway, even in case of heavy rain)

Three hotels are available: one across the road from the Convention Center (Trezzo Hotel), one not so far (Guglielmotel) and one located in nearby Cassano d’Adda,at 10 minutes by car (Park Hotel).
A wonderful XVIIIth century house – explore it on the web – will be the heart of Convention.
Of course the true "heart" of the Convention will be, as usual, friendship and the pleasure of staying together showing one’s plates and admiring the other members displays.
On Sunday, members will have a choice between a short and a longer sightseeing tour, in any case they will not be disappointed.
We don’t know if everything will work perfectly, but we are trying hard with a lot of enthusiasm
in order to give you the best hospitality
